As summer reading comes to a close our last book selection of the season ends ends with this 1922 novel set in Russia during a volatile time when aristocrats are being exiled and executed for who they are. Count Alexander Rostov, a nobleman, is torn apart from his home and all he knows and sent to a luxury hotel under house arrest in the attic.
A Gentleman in Moscow is said to have humor, glitzy cast of characters and old-world elegance. Keeping our fingers crossed this new novel will be added to our best books collection as it comes highly recommended by our reading friends.
